The dust of controversy on who actually solved Poincaré conjecture hasn’t settled yet or has it?
Since I have no reason to believe Grigori Perelman didn’t solve it, I accept he did! What do you think?
Deep down I also think the same way.
But there are few Chinese mathematicians who say that Grigori started it, and it is they who finished the proof.
I am all confused on the meaning of “Proof”!
