Stanford on iTunes U provides access to a wide range of Stanford-related digital audio content via the Apple’s iTunes Store. The public site includes Stanford courses, faculty lectures, event highlights, music, sports, and more.

An interesting survey of 54,240 students applying to British universities; popular opinions amongst the students or our future leaders are:
- thinks of itself as more materialistic, more affected by crime and less healthy than its parents’ generation, and more worried about what the future holds;
- thinks the effects of climate change will be hitting hard by 2031;
- and thinks inequality between rich countries and poor countries will grow.

Create commons books at Connexions, with an excellent one of music theory; I was impressed as the book started not with the expected (this is a musical stave, with the notes) but with what a standing wave was, and worked from there.

MIT’s OpenCourseWare
Personally I think MIT’s OpenCourseWare is a great idea, but I’m not sure of one thing – has it made a real difference? What do you think?
